    Hey all,

I have a mate who is interested in learning to fly somewhere in the Sydney basin. Looking for a recommendation for a school in the area. GA or RA is fine but preferably one that does both.

    Thanks,
    AS

Dave C, do you still do RAA training out at the Oakes?

GFS is now Oxford Aviation Academy. I know nought about the Bankstown operation, sorry, not even sure it is still there despite the entry on the Bankstown Airport website - it looks out of date as does the entry for the Sydney Aerobatic School.

However, I would recommend Red Baron Flight Training.

Daves Flying School at The Oaks is alive and active . It has 3 Jabiru LSA55 aircraft , 1 Lightwing and a Quicksilver GT500 available for training . If a school that does GA and RA is needed , then I suggest giving Dave Maddox at Gostner Aviation , Camden a go . They have Jabiru J160's , both GA and RA registered . Sydney Jabiru Flying School at Bankstown with Jabiru LSA55 and Tecnam Golf is a good school too , I did my training with them at Hoxton Park , and highly recommend them ..
